Make a ribbon bulletin board! Its very easy and super fun to see the end result!
Supplies: fabric, quilt batting, ribbon, staple gun, iron, foam board, and scrapbooking pins
Step 1: fold (or cut) your foam board in half, then glue them together with a strong adhesive. (you also can use plywood instead, but don't cut the foam board)
Step 2: cut your fabric and quilt batting about 2-3in. bigger than the size of the board.
Step 3: Use your iron and iron the fabric so it is smooth.
Step 4: use the staple gun and staple the quilt batting onto the foam board. Make sure its nice and tight.
Step 5: repeat step 4, just instead use the fabric
Step 6: now lay peices of ribbon across, make the shape of a diamond(criss-crossy pattern), refer to the picture below. (make sure that their is about 2 inches of the ribbon on the back side)
Step 7: once you have layed down and cut all the ribbon peices (make sure they are very tight!), use the staple gun and staple the ribbon to the back of the foam board on both sides of the board where the ribbon is layed.
Step 8: where the ribbon peices intersect, put your scrapbooking pins in the board carefully! ( i wouldn't suggest using a hammer becuase it is very easy to break the pins, also if you are using plywood, the scrapbooking pins will not work!)
Step 9: stick your own pictures and notes!
